Ambassadors are individuals who are ready to advocate for reproductive health, choice, and justice. The Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington DC (PPMW) Ambassador Program will serve as an “on-ramp” for individuals to engage with the reproductive health community and actively support PPMW.
As we enter a new phase for reproductive rights, the nation faces some of the biggest threats to Planned Parenthood funding that we’ve ever experienced. We will need volunteers to support our mission, help us mobilize here in DC, MD and VA, and speak out in an organized way against these attacks.
Orientation: All applicants must be available for mandatory training on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, from 6:30-8:30 pm. Training will provide participants with structured activities, informal discussion, and guidance on how to speak on behalf of PPMW in terms of messaging, community engagement, education, politics, and marketing.
